As some of you know, I don´t travel outside my country as much I´d like to but nevertheless I´m a big Travel & RV fan. I often blog about my mini traveling adventures and desires both here and in my other blogs.
I´ll never forget my camping experiences, specially those back when I was a teenager. During summer vacations, I used to camp for weeks in Tróia, Setúbal. In August, my hometown’s older Fisherman celebrate a holiday devoted to their protection saint. Boats are decorated for a parade in Sado river. People get together in the beach, some camp others just come for the festivities.
I used to spend the festivities camping in a small tent nearby my best friend´s parents bigger tents.
I really miss camping. I miss the nights by the fireplace, having fun and listening to that friend that brings the guitar to cheer the party, sleeping outside because it´s too hot inside the tent. Being there under the summer night sky, watching the stars to fall asleep in our sleeping bags. Washing plates with sand, looking for seafood and cooking clamps in the fireplace. These are some of the fun parts I miss, won´t describe the less fun parts... mosquito here, ant there :)
My father had a small van which he transformed in a single person RV. Someone with a bit of skill can do that, there are specialized RV and camping shops which provide anything needed to refurbish or revamp an older RV. The link above is from one of these stores.
When my father passed away I inherited the Renault RV but sold it a few months after because I had no place to keep it, it was too small for 3 persons and didn´t know if I would ever use it. I sold it to an English couple living in "Monchique". I like to think that surely are having more fun with it.
Maybe someday I can embark in some RV adventure. For now, all I can do is read about other´s RV adventures, which I often do.
See you soon.

Music: Enjoying Godsmack
Hello guys!
Early this month, a friend introduced me to Godsmack´s music and, ever since that day, I´ve been glued on Youtube discovering their tunes and videos. Thanks P. for this one!
For today´s music post, I picked their song "Serenity"...something I was looking forward to have (in the next months) but then... life takes over and it´s gone, suddenly...this also reminds me Creed´s music "Suddenly", a good pick for another music post :)
See you soon xx

As some of you know, I´m the only author of a few different blogs. This is a challenge I enjoy and although I know I could have a better blog if I focused my energy on one alone, I prefer keeping my niche blogs as well. It makes sense having just a food blog and a personal one separately.
In the past weeks, I´ve been working to improve some of my Portuguese blogs and now, I´m focusing on my English blogs. I´m reformulating My Countryhome blog. I already changed the layout and now I´m making some editorial changes. My goal is to turn it more into a Travel blog.
I kept Netfreesource as a free blog and will (finally) install the costume layout I bought quite a while ago.
After changing Portuguese Menu layout and updating the blog more often, I bought a new domain name but haven´t used it yet. My goal is to use it for a blog about woman’s interests and I already did a bit of work on that but the pace has been slow. I decided that I will only look for website hosting options after writing more content for it. In this case, I haven´t done much domain names research, I just kept it simple. I came up with a name for the blog and bought the matching domain. I know that this isn´t the best way to do it when you´re looking for free SE traffic but that´s not a big deal for this blog´s purpose.
Plus, it can happen anyway, if single posts get indexed. I have this experience from one of my Portuguese blogs. The blog keywords gets some visitors but it gets most of it´s SE traffic by other ways which is indexed content, single posts. I use analytic tools to check this out.
So, I´ve got much to do in the next few weeks. Let´s see if I don´t digress much doing other things online :)

Hello everyone, hope you´re all Ok in your corner of the world.
In mine, it´s rainy and cold outside and I´ve been spending most of my days home. After my recent decision of leaping out of my full time job, I´m now thinking about doing a few big changes in my life.
I´m not one of those persons who´s very afraid of big changes but whenever I decide something that will affect my life in different aspects I like to think things trough to be sure, to realize what I really want to do. When I have to make big decisions I tend to withdraw to my cocoon and that has been my "status" mood in the past few weeks.
I have a lot to do before putting any changes in practice. I´m thinking about moving and I need to figure what to do with all the stuff I accumulated in the past decade...not an easy job but a doable one. So, in order to do it, I need free time and that´s one of the reasons why I decided to become, voluntarily, unemployed. I think of it as a pause that I need to sort out my personal life and not as a permanent state. After doing the changes I want/need, I´ll look for another job but this time I´ve decided that I won´t accept a minimum wage job.
I need to think positive and raise my standards or else I´ll never enjoy working for someone else. I´m a solo type of person and I would be better off as a self employed or running my own business like I did before.
Well, after that being said, I have to start somewhere. I´ve decided to start by sorting all papers and books and then I´ll carry on with clothes. In the months ahead, I will be a sort of busy bee in my flat and once I´m not working outside, I can balance my time between my online and my offline tasks.
See you soon.

Second Hand Cars
As some of you know, I love cars and driving and I often blog about my car. My father was a mechanic and used to race in rallies so I guess my love for cars might be inherited from him
I love the smell of a new car and the excitement of driving a brand new machine but I have not had that pleasure since 2007. For someone who enjoys cars as much as I do, buying a new car is the ultimate thrill but if you think about saving money in transportation and getting the best value for your money, as I do, a second hand car is the way to go. You can check auto usate Milano for a good example of European second hand car business. When looking for a car dealer you´ll find signs such as compro auto usate or vendita auto usate.
Recently, I upgraded my second hand car and I´m very happy with the option I made. Most second hand car dealers offer one year guarantee which covers most parts. Plus, they have good connections with different credit companies and can help you find the best auto loan available.
I could list a dozen reasons for opting for a second hand car. On top of that list would be that a new car depreciates faster and, in my country, it pays more taxes than a second hand car. Plus, if I opt for a second hand car I can buy a better drive than a new one. I get more value for my money and I´m able to drive a top car which depreciation (that occurs in the five years) was paid by it´s previous owners. This means that I can drive a top car which is still in good shape for 25% of it´s price as new.
In my country, the second hand car business is well developed and it´s not difficult to find most brand’s parts. Because taxes are so high here, it used to be worthy buying a top second hand car in another European country and legalize it here.
This is my preference, which is yours?

Hello guys,
Not long ago, I wrote a post here in Night Clicks complaining how my Food Blog, Portuguese Menu, was being "attacked" on a daily basis by spam comments. I guess that´s usual stuff and a boring rant but the truth is: Spam comments still bother me and this is a topic that relates to all of us... Bloggers. So, here´s my share :)
I´m really thankful that Blogger decided to include an effective Spam detection tool in their platform, the one I use most and am more familiar with. Having to go trough so much spam was sucking my online time and even interfering with my editorial. (editorial sounds "Trés Chique", lol)
For example: Today, when I opened my Food blog I had 83 spam comments detected in the past few days. You can imagine how long it would take me to select non spam comments. After going trough a few pages of spam, the time and energy I had to write a post was gone. Now, with a few clicks, I can select all messages and hit delete.
So, for that, thank you!
See you soon :)

Hello Guys!
I´m celebrating Night Clicks 3rd Blogversary!
It´s a milestone...and I´m happy to (still) be here.
The picture above, which I enjoyed the minute I spotted it, was copied from a Blogversary post in gilyehuda.com and it describes just how I feel about Night Clicks 3rd Blogversary.
I still can remember the moment when I decided to start Night Clicks. My inspiration to start a blog in English came from Rachel, the blogger behind "Turnonepoundintoonemillion.com". Sending you a big hug :)
So, I started Night Clicks in November 4. Night Clicks is a Scorpion blog, my ascendant sign :)
I won´t add a long description about the benefits I found in blogging but I can tell you it´s been a great journey and I´m here to stay a bit longer :)
I´m sending out love and a big hug to all that read my (sometimes crazy) posts, Followers, EC fellow Bloggers, occasional visitors that find Night Clicks trough search engines (many trough strange keywords, lol), those who support my blogs by linking to them, and all who have been here with me along the way. Thank You!!

Music
Hello!
Hope all is going well in your corner of this world :)
It´s been a while since I post music so I´m doing it today.
Kind of a special message to someone out there too.
Today I´m posting a music from a group recently introduced to me by a friend...
A long lost friend...(re) found almost twenty years after.
I must confess that I was totally caught by surprise and...
This encounter really shook me up! Gosh...you still look so good!
Both on the outside and inside (gotta check it better, though)...
It felt like... revisiting old buried memories... Not unpleasant, though.
Lately, ghosts from the past come to revisit me, one by one. Just like in a weird movie. They come both in my mind and in reality.
Rest sure...and don´t shake you heads like that... I haven´t seen "Paranormal Activity", yet, and I´m using a metaphor here :)
I have one friend which has an interesting theory about the place we meet this weekend...it´s all about people emotionally unbalanced..lol. Maybe he´s right, maybe he´s not. I couldn´t care less. It has been a sort of window.
Anyway, it was niceee..sweet :)
My message to you:
Thanks for so much sharing...
For the moments...for introducing me to such good music.
Makes me wanna say: Come Here! Just like in the music :)
Hope to see you soon so I can give you a real hug...
Tchau guys xx
Lyrics:
It's way too late to be this locked inside ourselves
The trouble is that you're in love with someone else
It should be me. Oh, it should be me
Sacred parts, your get aways
You come along on summer days
Tenderly, tastefully
And so may, we make time
Try to find somebody else
This place is mine
You said today, you know exactly how I feel
I had my doubts little girl
I'm in love with something real
It could be me, that's changing!
And so may, we make time
To try and find somebody else
Who has a line
Now season with health
Two lovers walk a lakeside mile
Try pleasing with stealth, rodeo
See what stands long ending fast
Oh, how I love you
And in the evening, when we are sleeping
We are sleeping. Oh, we are sleeping
And so may, we make time
We try to find somebody else
Who has a line
Now season with health
Two lovers walk a lakeside mile
Try pleasing with stealth, rodeo
See what stands long ending fast
