As I´m writing it´s still Sunday night here but once it´s already past midnight this post´s date is Monday. You got it...I´m doing one of my night owl blogging sessions :)
There are so many things I want to do both in my online and offline life...and days fly so fast.
After a few days of much rest (and procrastination too) we are feeling much better now. Thanks to all who dropped by and left a "get well" comment. I´m so fortunate to have blogging friends...I cherish you all! You know what... Having virtual buddies can make you feel less lonely.

Blogger Status: Sick & Freezing
Hello everyone,
Hope you all had a nice weekend.
Guys...We are freezing and sick! We are not only sick of the cold days and nights but we are literally sick with flu as well. This weekend we had this year´s colder days and once I´m always cold in winter, my complains are natural.
The flu process was simple..my daughter caught it at school and passed it on to me. Now, we both have it. She´s missing school since this Monday...again.
The poor thing...since the year started she´s has been sick on and off a few times. First, it was the stomach and vomiting thing. Then, she had headaches and one of her teachers sent me a note because she suspects my daughter needs eyeglasses. I already scheduled with a good ophthalmologist, but he´s a busy man and her appointment will only be next March 1st. I´d rather wait for this doctor than going somewhere else, I know he´s one of the best.
As this was not enough, a few days after recovering from the stomach thing episode two of her molar teeth were falling and she had headaches and mouth pain as well. Plus, last week, she fell down during a sports class and hurt her right feet ankle joint. Now...a throat infection and flu. Gosh...with all this, it´s case to say that probably someone gave her a huge "bad eye".
Today´s post may sound a bit hypochondriac but this is only the facts of what we´re going trough right now. I will only wait one more day, after that I´m taking her to the hospital in case she needs antibiotic.
Me...I´m not taking anything, I hate pills and I´m allergic to penicillin. A few cups of a good "Erva Luisa" and lemon tea with honey instead of sugar will help me out much more than any anti-flu pill.

Downsizing Process
As some of you know, I write about Personal Finances and my overall life goals at my other blog Mizé Journey. It´s a simple blog, installed in a first level domain, which I bought solely for this purpose. I already wrote about today´s topic there, and without posting duplicate content, I will sum it up here as well because not all Night Clicks readers visit my other blog.
I´m in the middle of a lifestyle changing process. A lifestyle makeover or whatever you want to call it. The first steps of this process were taken back in 2005 when I decided that I needed to stop splurging money and took control of my personal finances.
2009 was a year of profound changes in my home life but the internal process of desiring a change/downsize kept going. In 2010, among other things, I´ve managed to finally become debt free and before the year ended I adopted the theme "Just Do it!" for 2011.
During this year, I will try to sell my T3 flat, move to my T2 and after I will renovate it. This flat is in a building built in 1983 and needs a good remodeling: A new bathroom, including bathroom vanities, a new kitchen, new doors, windows and floor tiles. There´s a lot to be done there and, depending on how fast I sell this flat, I estimate the renovation will continue throughout 2012.
I just started to prepare the moving...I have a lot of work to do but, in the search of a simpler life, I think it will all be worthy. The real downsizing process just began...

Roger Waters Concert:: Count Me In!
My ticket to Roger Waters Concert, next March 22 in Pavilhão Atlântico - Lisbon, arrived in my mail box. Yeah! Count me in :)
I´m a big Roger Waters fan. I had the chance to see both Pink Floyd (promoting Division Bell album) and Roger Waters (In the Flesh Tour) live in Lisbon a few years ago but this will be "The Wall" Tour, something big :)
I bought the ticket online, requested to be sent by mail and paid the extra tax for this service. One week later, it arrived. It wasn´t cheap, 62.00 Euros, but I think it´s worthy because it was anouced that this will be the last "The Wall" Tour. Now, I have to prepare the trip to Lisbon.
I searched Youtube for videos from 2010 concerts and came across with a few...I like them all :) And because this is also a Music post, here´s a version of "What Shall We Do Now". Just for a glance of how this concert will be:

A Short EC Dropping Hiatus
As some of you probably noticed, I have been absent from my usual EC visits. Once in a while one short EC dropping hiatus feels good. You know, it´s a bit boring doing the same thing every day... for years. I´ve been using my online time for other important things...such as blogging :)
On the other hand, I got used to EC dropping on a regular basis and after some time I do miss visiting my favorite EC blogs.
I´d like to thank my EC fellows bloggers who always drop by. Even though I haven´t been returning drops, I think of you. I missed you guys and will be back to return visits asap.

Some Business Ideas
In the past months, I defined a few goals for my Portuguese blogs and I shared my thoughts about this here in Night Clicks.
My major goals, which concerned my two niche blogs were attained. Both blogs are up and running and giving me some advertising revenue. While trying to improve my art blog, I had the idea to create a step by step guide of the techniques I use in my artworks. I already have most of this content online for free, it´s dispersed in blog posts but what if I could come up with my own product to be sold online? That would be great.
I´ve received some interest in my work and this blog receives over 500 daily visitors but my main goal is not selling my work online, it´s providing information about glass art in general. Though, I think the idea of creating a step by step guide to be sold trough my blog could be a good experience. Maybe this is the path that will lead me to learn more on how to build a business website. I will surely need professional help for this.
In the future, I would like to figure out how to put my idea in practice. For now I have a lot of work to catch up. I was absent from blogging over a week and my Portuguese readers may be wondering what happened to me :)

My NetSource Blog

Hope you all had a nice weekend. Mine was calm and I enjoyed it.
In Saturday, I drove to Tavira and had dinner out in this city´s new mall. The mall is big, the architecture inside is quite nice but I found that the underground parking could be much better. Either they didn´t know very well what they were doing...or my car is too big :) Ok, no more comments, this post is about my other blog.
I completed the changes I had planed for my first domain blog, NetSource. Now the blog is up and running again and I installed it in a new info domain. I use this blog mainly for reviews, mixed with personal posts and it´s also where I post my sky pictures.
As I mentioned before, I use Godaddy and, recently, they made some changes in the interface. First, I had some difficulties installing the blog but then it worked. Now, I´m having the same issues installing my other personal blog, a dot com domain... hope I find the solution for this one fast.

What Happened To Regular PR Updates?
I have not noticed any PR updates or changes in any of my blogs or other websites I visit for a while now. Since I started blogging, I got used to see three or four PR updates each year but now I haven not seen a PR update in months. Maybe internal PR has changed but the toolbar hasn´t.
Page Rank is a website measure important for some webmasters and Internet Marketing but is still ignored by many. I think it all depends on each person’s online activities and goals. One fact is that the major search engine became so important that is now a verb.
Having a website with good page rank has more advantages than the opposite. It can help maximize your online presence, be quickly indexed by search engines, receive free traffic and attention from advertisers. Free traffic from search engines along with a pay per click marketing program can be an extra revenue for many webmasters and bloggers. From my experience, search engine traffic can be very valuable for Internet Marketing if you have a way to convert that traffic into money. I´ve seen results myself with an art niche.

I came across this song while looking for Chill Out music in Youtube and enjoyed it right away. I have a sort of fascination/attraction for Arabic and Oriental stuff. I don´t know why, but always felt this way. In the future, if I ever get to travel, I would surely like to visit Egypt.
After researching a bit about this song, I found that Amr Diab, this music´s singer is from Egypt :)

Blogger Status: Back To "Normal" Routine
Hello everyone!
Hope you´re all having a good week. Here the rain stopped and today it´s a beautiful Spring day outside.
My daughter recovered from the stomach problem, finally and TG. She´s feeling much better but also caught flu... This week, she already went to school. I´ve been in a sort of blogging updates hiatus but now I´m back to my "normal" routine.
In the past week, I´ve spent most of my night online time chatting with friends trough msn, playing games in Facebook...well..just having fun. It feels good to have extra online fun stuff once in a while. Lately, I´ve been feeling rather social and FB games can be addictive too :)

Could Have Started Better...
My new year could have started in a better way...
My daughter spent New Year´s with her father and returned home sick. Now..they´re both sick.
She was supposed to start school Monday but wasn´t feeling well that morning. She vomited during the night a few times and had stomach aches. Maybe it was something she ate or a virus, not sure.
She doesn´t have fever and the stomach aches come and go...in the morning she´s not feeling very well, but after a few hours she looks normal. Then..it returns again.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I´m in a small blogging hiatus but hope to return as soon as possible.

More Free Blogger Templates
As I mentioned in my previous post, I have been looking for new templates for my blogs and I came across a few websites I had not included in my resources list before.
I prefer using free blogspot templates because they´re absolutely free, you just give out one or two links from your blog to the author´s website, and there are new templates being created all the time. This way I can change my blog´s look in a glimpse of an eye without any cost.

Tasks in Hand
I´m night blogging again. Since yesterday, I´ve been working more on my new blogs and writing content for all the others. For the months to come, I got a lot on my hands both online and offline. I´m preparing to move so I need to start all arrangements before painting the flat and doing repairs.
I think the new year will bring a few changes for me and I´m planning to release the burden of all the stuff I accumulated in the last decade. After spending a couple months wondering what to do next, I feel now it´s the time to put plans in practice, no more procrastinating is allowed.
I did a small blogging hiatus during Christmas. I was away from home for a whole week and only had Internet connection available for a few hours in two days.
Being on the move and writing content for my blogs isn´t very compatible so I decided to skip blogging and enjoy the trip.
Now, I have a lot to do if I want to launch the new blogs soon. I´ve been looking for nice free templates and already found a few. In the middle of all this, I´m also learning how to download software using Torrent files. There´s a few movies I´d like to find for free online and I´ve always been curious about this type of free stuff. Seeding is something I already heard about many times but once I don´t know exactly how it works, I´ve been researching online to find the answers I need. It would be cool to download free movies once in a while.

I´m a long time "The Cure" fan but I already posted one of their videos before and it´s the first time I´m including Tori Amos in my favorite tunes list.

Happy New Year Everyone!
I spent New Year´s Eve eating and drinking with my friend M. After midnight, I had a good time watching the fire and "7Eventy 7Even" concert in Faro´s downtown. Their singer is amazing...although they play covers, I enjoyed every bit of it.
I wish all Night Clicks visitors and friends the best for 2011..and much success for my fellow bloggers!
