I´ve been using a paid anti-virus software for some time but my subscription finishes today. I´m happy with the software I´ve been using because it has protected my notebook from many adware and other malicious attacks.
I really need protection for my machine because I do a lot of blog-hopping and visit new websites every day but once there´s free software available I think I should give it a try.
I already have internet connection and domain costs, I´d really like to cut expenses and I´m seriously thinking about doing this change.
The question is: Which is the best free anti-virus software available?
If you´re using free anti-virus software, would you please share your experience with me?

hi! i also do a lot of surfing and bloghopping in the internet and i used the free subscription from avg. you might want to give it a try, it hasn't failed me yet.

There is a free version of Grisoft AVG that I use on several of my computers. I also use Comodo Forewall and Antivirus combination (free) that I just love. Hope that helps!

Hey Mize', My SIL, a self taught computer guru also swears by AVG. I have heard a lot of people say it is a good program.
I myself have had problems when I run anything other than Norton!!
