Today´s post is about MMO. Early this month, I received another Adsense payment. I´ve reached the barrier of receiving one payment every two months, in average, which I think it´s pretty good.
I received another Adgitize payment as well. This one´s a slow earner for me because I´m only a publisher but I´m keeping it.
I keep accumulating and receiving revenue from Shvoong. I contribute to this website with articles and book reviews.
I´m still doing some direct buy reviews and in the past couple months I had a few "bigger" - better-paying jobs. Cheers to that!
In the PPP world the companies which currently are working better for me are Blogvertise, Sponsored Reviews and Inpostlinks. I have the two first companies logos on Night Clicks right side bar.
Social Spark and Pay per Post died to me, I mean, I stopped receiving worthwhile offers from them.
I signed up with Microworkers about 10 months ago but I only became more active in the past 3 months. I already received two payments from them so now I can report my experience and assure you they pay.

Money Topics
The year end is a good time to make a life balance, look back and into the future.
In the past two years my life changed a lot. I´m now a single mother and the only captain of this ship and that makes a huge difference. Before divorce, everything I did had a family focus, my life gravitated around my ex and my daughter.
All finances and money decisions were made having the three of us in mind, not anymore. For me, 2011 will be a year in which I will need to focus on my personal finances. Now that I´m unemployed, things will get a bit harder for us. I have to cut down all unnecessary expenses and luxuries.
I´m also planning to move and sell the flat we are currently living in.
Until I´m able to sell my flat, I will have to stretch all Euros. The only thing that could rescue me from this financial situation would be finding a new job or a way to have some Wicked Profits.
I will need to do something to change this, stop worrying and taking action. This also means that once my mind will be focused on money topics, I will write more blog posts for my Personal Finances blog...that´s for sure.

Another Shvoong Payment
I just received another payment from Shvoong. As I mentioned before, Shvoong is an International resumes website available in different languages.
I joined Shvoong community back in September 2007. The content I provided, such as articles, book reviews and translations, generates advertising royalties.
The following month my account reaches 10.00 Dollars they send me a payment to my PayPal account. I don´t check my profile as often anymore so receiving one of their payments is always a surprise to me.
It took me a few months to start earning from my content but I think it was a good deal/investment because it keeps generating revenue. Most of my articles´ focus is Psychology so I´m also sharing knowledge that can be useful to some and that makes me feel good.

My MMO Endeavours
In general, my online profits decreased as soon as I started working full time. Earning money online requires time, dedication and "know how".
I also noticed an overall decrease in the number of opportunities to write sponsored posts, comparing to the same period in 2009.
Currently, my most "steady" income comes from Adsense in my Portuguese blogs. It´s surprising but it´s true. My less "steady" income comes from Blog Advertising companies and writing.
In the current state of fairs, most months I earn nearly 200.00 Euros just from writing but there are others in which I barely reach 100.00 Euros. It all depends on my free time to write and the offers I receive, either directly by e-mail or (more frequently) trough the different companies´ marketplace.

Shvoong is a summaries and reviews website in over thirty languages. It´s also a huge library, useful for students, and a community. I´ve been in this website as a contributor since 2007. I write Portuguese books reviews, website reviews, and articles. They pay contributors according to the number of visitors of your articles. The minimum payout is 10.00 and they pay trough Paypal. They also have an affiliate scheme.

In the past months, I noticed that IZEA websites became even more scarcer for European posties but not for US´s. In general, they´re paying less for each review/post and have lesser opportunities than other competing companies. I think it´s more difficult to earn money this way than a couple years ago.
In 2008/2009 I used most of the money I earned online to pay my studies expenses. Now that I finished the degree, I´ve been using the money to pay current expenses (such as Internet, telephone, domains renewal, etc) and for our vacations fund. Actually, there´s no vacation´s fund left, it went all to our current car (my long wanted "craziness") :)
I´ll have to rebuilt my savings but I´m happy with my "new drive". Now I have a car not a sample, lol. Ummm...from now on I´ll use my online earnings to rebuilt my savings, great destination :)

Earning Money Online: Other Resources
A couple months after starting Night Clicks, I came across a few blogs about making money online trough the Internet. At that time, I was studying and working part-time with children and had a little extra time at night that I used for blogging.
I was excited about the possibility of earning a few extra bucks from the comfort of my home and started researching more about home business topics.
Trough my own research, I learned about affiliate schemes, different types of blog advertising, paid content, the domain/website business and all the other making money online possibilities related to those main resources. After spending many nights learning by reading articles and other´s experiences, and once I already had a couple blogs, I decide to try the blog advertising business. Currently, blog advertising, Adsense and writing articles are my main online revenue source.
I never tried to earn money trough online games but I know it´s possible to do. I recently meet a friend who is also a blogger, only works offline in part time but makes a decent income online. He earns more than my offline salary trough sports bets. He uses a website that allows him to make money trough basketball betting and football betting. I was amazed when he showed me his earnings in the past months.
This way of making money online isn´t as risky as I first though but demands lots of research. To earn higher amounts without much risk, he has to study championships, games statistics, tactics and read the sports news every day. Once he blogs about football and enjoys everything sports related, earning money online this way is not only a challenge but a way to have fun.
I couldn´t do it myself but I admire him for what he does.

This post is for all my readers that are beginning in this world of making money online, working from home, and need directions or useful info on how to start earning with writing skills. This tips are my conclusions on this topic after researching for a while.
Ok, I have writing skills, but can I really earn money online?
Yes you can!
But...It will depend on how much time and effort you´re willing to invest. If you work hard enough and write good quality content you can make a part-time income, start your own writing business, or even make it a full time job, it´s up to you.

It will depend on some factors, like quality, research done, number of articles sold, and to whom or where you sell them. The medium price is around $0.02 cents per word. For example, one article with 300 words can be sold by $6.00 or more.
One way of making money online is using your writing skills to sell articles and if you´re really good you can be hired by a Site/Blog to write content.
If you have really good writing skills, and you want to earn money maybe you should consider working as a freelancer. As a freelancer you can sell articles in Forums, like DP, or you can work for a writing company, or even write your own e-book and sell it online. Don´t know where to start? Start by Forums and build your way from there.
If you run a Blog or a Website with a good PR and reasonable traffic you can earn money both writing sponsored reviews or selling advertising space in your site. Just be sure to do it the right way, so you don´t loose your PR. I´ll write about this topic in future posts.

In sum, affiliate programs come in many different guises but generally speaking if a company offers an affiliate program it means they will allow you to sign up as their affiliate or independent representative and market their product or service for them. The company then pays you money, usually a percentage, whenever anyone you referred subscribes the Affiliate´s services or makes a purchase.
