Article Directories: Useful Resources

Last year, I published a few posts here in Night Clicks about Article Directories. Back then, I listed a considerable amount of urls of different types of Article Directories with Page Rank. You can check my archives and Article Directories category to find these lists. Although each directory PR might not be updated you can find plenty urls to visit. You can also find a huge list of Article Directories in any major search engines´ results.
Article directories can be very useful not only for writers and webmasters but to anyone who wants to learn more about a specific topic. Trough them, you can promote your own articles and even gain free links to your website or blog.
One of the article directories I frequently visit is Article Alley. I even published a few articles there. Article Alley has so many different categories. It covers topics such as Blogs, SEO, Business Management, Home Business, E-Marketing, Domain Names, Forums, Site Promotion, Technology and many more.
Sometimes, bloggers need to research and read different articles to write posts. If you´re in a sort of writers blockage or need content for your site, you can check Article Directories because they are a good resource for new ideas.
Just remember: Never plagiarize. If you need to copy any content always refer it´s author.

Finding Knowledge Online: Life 123

I was searching for parenting information on the Internet when I came across a useful website called Life123 that I´d like to share with you.
Life123 is a website where you can find articles about life topics written by experts, editors, and other writers that contribute to this website. Life 123 has a writer community of serious writers that get paid for their contributions.
Life 123 covers a wide range of topics such as: Beauty, Career, Hobbies, Food, Health, Holidays, Parenting among others. While browsing the website I also found useful information on diverse topics such as family cruises, relationship advice and money. If you have a question about any of this topic, this website only displays filtered results and save us time because we don´t have to search for information in different websites.

Free Article Directories

In my last post about "Having Ideas to Blog About", I mentioned that free articles directories are a good starting point to have our own ideas, remember?
Ok, this works with me and might not work with others but in my opinion, free article directories are a good place to find topics because they have a wide range of categories where you can start looking for new ideas.

Writing Articles: Sharing my experience with Enzine Articles

Not long ago I wrote a post about articles and Article´s Directories. I mentioned that I was going to submit one of my posts to some Article Directories and then blog about my experience.
I submited one of my posts about "How to Earn Money Online" to Enzine Articles and two posts about the same topic to Article Alley. My articles were approved and published by both directories.
Of course it´s only two articles, and I shouldn´t buzz about it, but if you consider that I´m Portuguese, and my blog´s english level is "High-school" (remember the post about the reading level of Night Clicks?), I guess it´s Ok to be a litle happy.
I think this first experience was positive. I earned back-links, and some exposure for Night Clicks.
The best part of this experience was the opportunity to learn. After publishing my first article, Enzine Articles sent me six e-mails with good tips, like a mini e-course, about the "Do's and don'ts of Article Marketing" which were very useful to me.
So, I think my first experience with Article´s Directories was better than I first supposed it would be. If you write articles I recommend you try Enzine Articles yourself.

Articles Directories

As I mentioned in a recent post about writing articles I found a huge list of Article Directories, about 500, and I´d like share this info with my readers. In this directories you can submit your articles, get them free and take a look around to see how other experienced authors write.
I didn´t post this list right away, because I wanted to be sure that it was updated, and I was right, it wasn´t, at least in what regards Directories Page Rank and some urls. So, I checked many of this Directories, one by one. I spent some hours doing this and I hope this info will be helpful for Night Click´s readers.
In m my next posts I´ll share a list with the highest PR directories I found, after which I´ll post another list with lower PR sites and some “Niche Directories”.

Article Directory - Article Alley

In a previous post I mentioned that some Article Directories allow you to include a link in each article. While reading Leadsleap´s viral Blog I found about one good Directory: http://www.articlealley.com/
Article Alley is online since November 2004, and “was created as an Internet resource to to help promote the understanding of the Internet and www related issues” (Article Alley, 2008).
Article Alley publishes in many different topics, including: Career, Make Money Working from Home, Blogs, Business, Hardware, Software, Music, Pets, Food, Health and Fitness, Home-and-Family, Automotive, Fashion, Religion, etc. They also run a network of informational Sites: A1 Articles, Women's Articles, Web Hosting Articles, Article Heaven, Index Plex Directory, Going Legal, and Finance Alley. Content submitted to any of their sites may get used elsewhere on the network if their editors feel the content is appropriate.
Two days ago, I´ve submitted an article about making money with a Blog and I´m waiting it´s approval. I didn´t publish this article before, but I will include it here in my “Make money with a Blog” posts.
I´ve been using Leadsleap free advertising system for about one month. I was introduced to Leadsleap by a Yuwie friend and, in a near future, I´d like to write a proper review of this free adverting system.
