Adgitize is Closing

Hello folks,
I´m starting this new blogging year with more energy as I´ve recovered from the infection and been having plenty rest.
As my post´s tittle says, I just found that Adgitize Ad Network is closing. I´ve been an Adgitize publisher since it began but never upgraded to publisher or had many people referred by me so my revenue was pretty low.
I just visited their website to confirm the info and was informed that they will pay any remainder revenue earned before December, the official closing date.
I already removed the Adgitize widget from my blogs and as I´m writing this post they´re not showing ads anymore.
Last month I have decided to include Adsense in more of my blogs, including Night Clicks. So far, Night Clicks type of visitors don´t click much on ads but once in a while someone does so I´m keeping it this way to accumulate with my other blog´s revenue.
Well, live goes on.
And because this is my first post in 2012, here are my 3 major blogging goals for the year ahead: Keep up all my blogs, find new ways/websites of MMO and keep growing my websites/blogs advertising revenue.
See you soon xx

Trying To Improve my Blogs

Hello guys,
As I mentioned in a previous post, one of my current blogging goals is trying to improve some of my blogs.
I started by working on my Portuguese blogs. I decided to research ways to improve my advertising revenue and I´m pretty happy with the results.
For example, I started selling advertising space in my art blog, privately, something I wasn´t doing before. Plus, I had the goal to improve other earnings sources such as big G ads and found a way. By using the channels feature they provide, I tracked each ads earnings and found which placement was the best earner. Then, I reduced the number of existing ads in another placements and improved my earnings.
After this step, I dedicated some time changing my two other Portuguese blog´s layout and writing content. Now, I turned my attention to my English blogs. NetSource has a new layout and domain and now my focus will be turned to my Personal Finances blog. I´m tired of the current layout already. I would like to change it and find logo design ideas for a new widget.
I have two options, I can keep using free resources or I can buy someone´s services to design a new layout for my blog. Something with a more professional look. I have to decide between investing money or keep using free stuff, which quality is a bit lower and less customized. You see, my Personal Finances blog is not generating any relevant income. What I make there, does not even covers the domain fees, it´s a blog written much more for fun than anything else. I will have to decide this and see what I can do to make a change there. To change, only for better :)
See you soon xx

Not That "Wonderful" Anymore

Hello everyone,
After a tough night shift, I´m doing one of my night-owl blogging sessions :)
As soon as possible, I will remove Project Wonderful ad boxes from all my blogs.
So far, advertising has been a good way to monetize my blogs but as all business, when you don´t see a profit it´s time to change or move on.
I took this decision because I´ve noticed a big decrease in advertising purchases in my blogs trough this advertising company.
Well, maybe the problem is my blogs but the fact is I only earned 10 bucks since I joined them, nearly one year ago. In the past couple weeks, their ad boxes are empty every day so they look more like clutter than advertising space.
MMO is changing, it´s time to look for new ventures.
See you soon :)

Adsense Payment Arrived

That´s right! Last Tuesday, I received another Adsense payment in my mail box.
In 2009, my Adsense earnings have increased substantially thanks to my Portuguese blogs.
My Portuguese blogs rank well in Google´s search engine and I receive a good number of daily visitors that click on ads. Don´t ask me why they click, lol, they just do it and I get my editor´s earnings.
My formula works and I´m happy it does. It wasn´t easy to reach this stage, I had to research keywords, write content, get links and I need to keep working to maintain my blogs.
The good thing is I only blog about topics I enjoy. I don´t keep blogs or websites only for the money. On top of all, I enjoy blogging. Over the past two years, maybe I´ve become a blogging addict but the money I earn trough my blogs is only the cherry on top of the cake. I´m not a Pro blogger at all, plus, most of my blogs are in English which isn´t my mother tongue.
I already explained "my formula" but I´ll do it again:
To earn money trough Adsense you need to research keywords with a good number of monthly searches and low competition (use Google´s keyword tool to check this). Then, you need to create a website/blog about those specific keywords, write optimized content for those keywords and apply SEO techniques. If you´re able to rank well in search engines, you´ll get free traffic from them.
Use a good website design, place your ads well and wait for visitor´s to click on them. This is my perspective on how Adsense can be profitable, it sounds simple but it´s not. It takes a lot of work, specially with blogs, but I think it can pay off.
And you, what´s your Adsense formula?

Updates About Blog Advertising

Tonight, I found that I´ve reached another Adsense payment, cool news for my MMO activities :)
Last month, my earnings improved thanks to my new Portuguese blog. After all, starting another blog in the food niche was a good bet.
ProjectWonderful has been a slow earner for me and, in comparison, Adgitize has worked much better, although I only reached payout once. I haven´t tried CMF ads yet, and I´m still waiting for an EC payment. For me, Adsense really beats them all.
Yesterday, I decided to check ppp TOS and noticed some requirements weren´t listed there anymore. Currently, their TOS doesn´t say anything about interims and a minimum number of weekly posts. I don´t know when this new changes took place but I was so surprised that I decided to double check it, found nothing. This website is my best earner ever. Well, that´s all for now. See you in a bit.

Improving My Adsense Earnings

Hello everyone.
I´m back from work. In the past couple days, I´ve been doing a nice shift, from 2 to 8 pm. This shift allows me to be back to my blogging nights.
A few weeks ago, I mentioned in a post that I was working to improve my Adsense earnings. For my surprise, my best Adsense earners are my Portuguese blogs. I did some research and found that the Portuguese food niche had many searchers and enough space for more offer.
My strategie to improve my Adsense earnings is to invest my time on blogs, SEO them to have enough organic traffic and hope they generate revenue. This isn´t an easy goal but with some effort and my actual SEO knowledge it´s not impossible to reach. To acheive it, all I need is free time.
Last April, I started a food blog in Portuguese. I post once a week and already have a few good links that point to this blog. The result was positive, I already have PR1 and daily organic traffic from Google searches.
During May, this organic traffic started to click and generated some revenue that ads to my other blog´s earnings. If visitors keep clicking at this rate, next month I´ll reach another payment.
I received a check in May and in June I´ll reach another payment. Not bad at all. This project is demanding but rewarding and I´m happy that I´m able to generate revenue while I´m sleeping :)
See you soon.

Adsense Payment

Hello everyone.
Many things happened in the past two days, some good and others bad. My life could be a book or a novel :) I´ll tell you some of the good stuff and leave the "not so good" for future posts.
This week, I received another Adsense check in my mail box. This payment was of a higher amount than the previous, received in January. I just wish the dollar would be in a better shape because after conversion I got less than one hundred Euros.
Adsense payments are always welcome because I don´t need to work very hard for them. I just need to maintain my art blog updated and that´s quite all. My blog ranks very well in Google search engine and it get most of it´s traffic for free.
Currently, my art blog acheived 500 daily visitors from Google searches, which I think it´s very good for a Portuguese blog. Some of this visitors click in ads and I just need to wait two or three months to reach another payment. If I had a few blogs like this one I could consider myself very lucky but maintaining blogs isn´t a piece of cake. Blogs need constant attention, research, subjects to post and a good dose of motivation. This blog is my older one, it has one and a half years of existence so there´s a lot of work invested there.
I´ll keep you updated about my Adsense progresses.
See you soon.

Blog Advertising

Hi everyone.
I´m blogging from my Campus again.
In my last post about blog advertising I mentioned I was trying two companies Project Wonderful (PW) and Adgitize. Now that I´ve tried both I can talk a bit more about my experience with this two companies.
For me, PW is a slow earner but to my surprise Adgitize worked much better. I already received my first payment from them. If you´re looking for a blog advertising company I recommend Adgitize, maybe it works for you too.
See you soon.

Watch Dolphins Blow Bubbles

By now, you all know I´m a nature lover, don´t you?
I like to watch all fun videos of animals, they can be a good laugh.
If you check the top of my left sidebar, you´ll see a blue logo saying "Watch Dolphins Blow Bubbles". This logo is a sponsored ad.
If you click the logo you´ll have the chance to watch a video in which Dolphins blow bubbles.
I´ve seen another video in which Whales do this trick. It´s amazing how intelligent this sea creatures are.
Are you curious already?
Check out the video for yourself, and thanks for your click!

Blog Advertising: Adgitize, a New Company

If you´re a Night Clicks reader you know I´m always looking for the best ways to monetize my blogs. I like trying new things, learn with the experience, then, I blog about it.
In the past, I´ve joined a few advertising networks that didn´t work for me. I learned my lessons and moved on. As I mentioned in previous posts, Adsense is my best earner but only works for me in my niche blogs and I think it´s because I have some daily search engine traffic.
Ok, so today I joined a new advertising company, Adgitize.
I will post a detailed review about this new advertising network for blogs in a future post. For now, if you haven´t joined yet, you can check out how it works in their website, it has a nice affiliate scheme.
This is my link:

Adgitize your web site.

New Blog Network: Slogbite

Hi everyone.
Back to blogging. My PC is doig much better than yesterday. I ran my Panda analysis and I guess it caught the naughty bug. Well, at least I´m able to surf, drop and blog.
This episode was a warning to me and today I found out I wasn´t the only who got a virus doing EC drops.
A strange thing is also happening in my Portuguese blog, but that´s material for another post. Ok, today´s post is about Slogbite.
Maybe you already saw this logo in other blogs:

125 x 125

Slogbite is a new Blog Network, still in Beta. I joined a few days ago and, from what I read, it works like Entrecard with the promisse of a twist.
The widget is a must and there´s two types of accounts/collaboration, A and B. This Network has a special section for Entrecarders. I visted the site twice and I already saw many familiar logos there.
Well, let´s wait to see how it works. I don´t know if I have time for another social network but I´d like to try it to check the "promissed twist". I´ll blog about my opinion after trying it for a while.

Social Spark´s Marketplace is for All Advertisers

SocialSpark has a marketplace where any advertiser can promote their product, service or website trough blogs.
Nowadays, Blogs are considered to be one of the best online word of mouth marketing, brand building and traffic generation. Advertising on blogs can really deliver results because, besides ads, blogs can provide unique content and personal opinions too.
I think that advertising in blogs is not expensive, if you consider the time a campaign can be running and money spent. Advertisers can get quality advertising at affordable prices.
To make the most out of this type of advertisin posts should fit blog’s main writing topic. In SocialSpark.com I found blogs that post on a vast array of topics, so the marketplace is suitable for many different advertisers.
Personally, I would like to see more advertisers related to website development, design, or other related opportunities in which I could promote free trials or products.
Once I have a blog about home life and being a mom, where I post some of my favorite recipes, I would like to see more food or home-life related brands. Home-life blogs can cover many different topics so there are many possibilities to advertise brands. I´d like to see brands of: Personal care products like perfume, shampoos or make-up, food, clothes, child related products, insurance, health-care, etc.
